Pyong's comments:  Who believes that the shop only shows pictures of vegetables instead of prices. DonDonDown on Wednesday has one of the most unique pricing system. Instead of JPY, the shop put pictures of vegetables on tags. Every Wednesday, the price goes down and finally reaches JPY 100. Some too nice items have regular price tags. It's up to shops. You can enjoy very unique shopping experience here. If you found something nice but thought a bit too expensive, you could wait till next Wednesday. Ayase was once well known for its poor public security. But the local government and the mayer have tried to make it better and announced cleanliness of the town. Now many young families choose to live here mainly because of its low land prices.
